Drivers are more aggressive here. Toronto people tilted the scale more towards stupid, while here its tilted the other way, while still driving just as bad.

For an area that has no snow, it feels generally more dirty on the streets. Garbage floating around, etc. I guess after Winter is over back home, the street cleaners get rid of the salts and stuff, not as much done down here.

Fast food costs a lot more here, and you get less. For example a meal that would cost $4.24 CDN, would cost around $6.51 USD for less portions.

I hate how gas stations ask for Zip Code when using credit cards at the pump. It makes my Canadian credit card useless. I have to go see the attendant each time I want to get gas, and I can't easily just fill up and pay that, I am forced to pre-pay a set amount.

My work atmosphere is about the same as back home. The people are nice, it's a good environment to me so far.

I'll report back once I get my own place.

Moved into my own place now. Much happier. Now to get a cat.
