countdown to tibness
posted Tuesday January 9, 2007 @ 19:58 by nightwolf News

so, according the estimated date i got, i should be getting my tib back end of this week or early next week.

i cant wait. its been so long, about 6 weeks. it's been like missing an arm. it will probably be a tearful reunion.

as soon as i get her back, ill be putting the stereo system back in, and going for a long drive for sure (i gotta start working on that whole companion thing, road trips alone can be boring).

so far on this journey, i've been in three different rental cars.

the first was a toyota corolla. i truely hated it. after the second day, i requested the rental company find me a replacement. it just felt so cheap and loose *cough*.

they got me into a chevy cobalt. it had power-nothing, but it felt more reliable. i drove it for about a month, going back and forth between home and barrie. it isn't a car i'd go out and buy, but i put up with it during this time.

last week i got a call from the rental company. they had sold the cobalt, and needed it returned. they offered me a mazda6 to replace it.

for the week i've had the mazda 6, i have to say i am impressed with it. there is not many sedans i like, but this one is kinda catchy. for the price range, i would consider it in the future if i needed a sedan. (outside of this price range, higher up, my definate so far is an infiniti g35, john's was so much fun)

for a week at one point, i had the option of driving two other cars also while people were away on vacation.

first was a benz c230 kompressor. the only thing i like about this car is the supercharger. the rest is meh. you pay for the class of the vehicle, but just my personal feeling on it is the quality sucks. my tiburon at less then half the price feels better built then that benz. now only if i had a supercharger in the tib...drrooolll..

next car i drove for a short bit was the infiniti g35 sedan. very plush ride. nice feeling car, i did like it a lot.

as both of these were not mine, and leased with kilometer limits, there was no way i was going to drive them back and forth to work. but for the quick runs out to the store, i had some fun.

so now i sit and await the return of my beautiful car. for a part of me to be re-attached...

here she is in all her glory:
