stupid people
posted Monday October 23, 2006 @ 23:51 by nightwolf Rants

more rants as usual

i was going to list a license plate here, but i already forgot it. heading home on highway 400 today, a Ryder moving truck was in the passing lane doing 120kph for like 20kms. he would not yield, man he pissed me off, truck that size, probably loaded just chuggin along screwing up traffic patterns.

next on my agenda, the stupid ass 'elect me! elect me!' signs everywhere. not only are they a waste of the so called 'funds' these people get, they make the streets look ugly, and eventually they will fill up a land fill. if someone cant do enough good to get themselves noticed in town, that they have to spam their name everywhere, i will not vote for you. within 500 meters on one road that i take home, i counted 31 'vote for me!' signs from different candidates. like come on, less then half a kilometer and i have to see that much garbage? the people that make these signs are making off like bandits, and i have to deal with the eye sores until voting time. i would never let someone post their sign in my yard, burn in hell.

next on the list is parents picking up their kids from school. what happened to the kids getting on the bus and going home. the school nearby me, must have 80+ cars waiting after 3pm to pick up kids, makes the whole area a traffic nightmare. and 75% of the cars are 'soccer mom SUVs'. they fill the school parking lot making it hard for the busses to get in. they fill up the side streets, and some even park on the main road with their four way flashers going!!! and to top it off, a majority leave their engines running, idlers! i wish i could have a job of ticketing these people for excessive parking/idling, i'd make a fortune in 20 minutes.

i remember back in the day when i walked across town and back to get to school, no busses were available where i went. kids today seem so spoiled, they cant even walk 20 minutes to get home, they need a ride. no wonder obesity is becoming such a problem.

until next time!

The 'elect me!' signs are a symptom of 'anything-you-can-do, I-can-do-better'-ness. Everyone knows they're a waste of time, but politicians have the mental age of 4th graders. They can't let their opponent put up signs without doing the same. Banish the thought that they might rest on their skills and merits.

Don't even get me started on the anti-idling bylaws, what a load of bullshit. We've already seen it proven that the only bylaws that are enforced are the ones that make towns easy money. It's nothing more than a tip of the hat to 'green initiatives'. Whatever the hell that's supposed to mean, I suppose they're different from 'blue initiatives' or something. *cough*

And I used to walk 25 minutes to get home from school, through the DOG PATCH, in snow up to my knees, both ways! Kids these days. Hey you, get off my lawn!

I once was sent home sick with the stomach flu (apparently I had turned an interesting shade of green) and my mom wouldn't come pick me up, she made me ride my bike home. These lazy ass little bastards these days. I'm sure they're watching DVD's in the headrests of those SUV's during the 4 min drive home from school!

Bigg, as long as I've known you, you've always driven to school. Shoot, you always drive to baseball... :)

Smeetz: That would be because you didn't know me before I had a drivers license. I paid my 'walking dues' early in life. Besides, I have a walking handicap after the ass-reaming from insurance company.

Hey Guys...This has nothing to do with this post, but since I don't have my own login, I'm putting it here. Thought you might like it.

another moron...
driving down 400 today onto black creek where it narrows lanes.

this shitty old car was just too impatient, so he cuts up the shoulder onto the onramp up head, not caring about cutting off other people.

i salute you Mr. AXCH898
