I think the gas prices are sickening. I really can't understand why they're using weather as an excuse. Just a week or so ago they said the prices were to go down.. What happened there? This morning it was 1.259.. I can remember when it was like .40/L and that was during desert storm.
There should be some sort of cap on the price of gas because there's no way they paid anywhere close to that for the barrel. They shouldn't be allowed to change the price so frequently. Wait until the storage at the station is empty and THEN change it according to what that barrel was purchased for. Deffinatly needs to be some regulation.. just horrible..

the stupid parts are three about all this 1) that the gas we're bein charged for today (supposedly due to katrina) was already in the ground b4 the hurricane hit....how can they charge so much more .... 2) doesn't canada have oil? oh yes we do, in alberta, but nobody checked it cause the dipsticks are in ottawa, 3) way to go "dalton" for refusing to cap or lower taxes on gas...bravo
